Sometimes the flight is just the beginning. 🐾✈️ W Sometimes the flight is just the beginning. 🐾✈️ We flew Malta → Milan with @kmmaltairlines then continued by car to Annecy, France 🇮🇹🚗🇫🇷 It’s one of my favourite ways to think about travelling with Roy: your flight doesn’t have to take you to the final destination. Fly somewhere accessible with your dog, pick up a car and turn it into a road trip. Save this one for a future dog-friendly escape. 🐩 ———————- Hi we’re Ruth & Roy Sharing travel tips, art vibes & dog-first™ escapes @pupspaintandprosecco #TravelWithDogs #Annecy #DogFriendlyTravel dog friendly travel Europe, travelling with a dog in Europe, Milan to Annecy, Milan to Annecy road trip, Annecy with a dog, dog friendly Annecy, France with a dog, Italy to France road trip, European road trip with a dog, flying with a dog, flying with pets, pet friendly airlines, dog friendly destinations, travelling Europe with pets, Malta to Milan, KM Malta Airlines pets, dog in cabin, pet in cabin, dog travel tips, Dog-First travel
4 October is the feast of St Francis of Assisi — a 4 October is the feast of St Francis of Assisi — a day closely associated with animals and their care. And with Malta Animal Awareness Week being marked around this time, it feels like a good moment to reflect on what pet awareness actually means. For me, it goes beyond loving our animals at home. It’s also about how they are welcomed into the world around us — in travel, hospitality, public spaces and everyday life. Thoughtful spaces. Responsible owners. Better understanding. Because awareness shouldn’t last just a few days. 🐾 ———————- #StFrancis #MaltaAnimalAwarenessWeek #DogFirst pet awareness Malta, St Francis animals, Animal Awareness Week Malta, dog-friendly Malta, pet-friendly Malta, responsible dog ownership, dog-friendly travel, pet-friendly travel, travelling with dogs, dogs in hospitality, pet-friendly hotels, dog-friendly public spaces, responsible pet ownership, animal welfare Malta, dogs in Malta, dog-friendly lifestyle, Dog-First travel, pet inclusion, travelling with a dog in Europe, dog-friendly tourism

Flying around Europe with your dog? SAVE THIS. O Flying around Europe with your dog? SAVE THIS. One of the first things I check before booking a flight with Roy is simple: Can he actually fly in the cabin with me? 🐾✈️ And this is where things can get confusing because airline pet policies are NOT the same. Some European airlines allow small dogs in the cabin, usually subject to a maximum weight of 8kg for the dog + carrier. KM Malta Airlines’ limit is 10kg. Others don’t accept pets in the cabin at all, while some have different rules depending on the aircraft, route or destination. So before you book that “perfect” flight… check the airline’s current pet policy first. ⚠️ Important: airline policies, weight limits, carrier dimensions and route restrictions can change. The information in this Reel is intended as a starting point - always verify the current requirements directly with the airline before booking. 🐩 I travel with Roy, so dog-first™ travel isn’t just something I research - it’s something I actually plan around. Which European airline have you successfully flown with your dog? 👇🏻 SAVE this Reel for your next European trip with your dog and SHARE it with a fellow dog mum planning a holiday. 🐾✈️ ———————- Hi we’re Ruth & Roy Sharing travel tips, art vibes & dog-first™ escapes @pupspaintandprosecco #dogtravel #dogfirst #dogmum dog travel Europe | flying with a dog | European airlines pets in cabin | dogs in cabin | pet friendly airlines Europe | travelling Europe with a dog | flying with your dog | dog friendly travel Europe | airline pet policies | travelling with pets | dog first travel

Some women leave behind a photograph. Some leave Some women leave behind a photograph. Some leave behind a feeling. And some leave behind words that, decades later, still find you exactly where you are. For this year’s illustration of Diana, I chose her in the dress that became the Revenge Dress — but I wanted to tell a slightly different story. Not revenge. Not Charles. Not even the headlines. Just Diana, standing in her own light. “I do as I’m expected, what they say behind my back is none of my business, but I come back here and I know, when I turn my light off at night, that I did my best.” Perhaps that is the part of Diana I wanted to remember today. 🤍 My new illustration is now available on Etsy, for anyone who would like to keep a little piece of Diana’s story on their own wall. And I’ve written a little more about the woman, the dress and the words behind this illustration on the blog. ✨ Link in bio. ———————- @pupspaintandprosecco Dog travel • Art • Lifestyle 🐾🎨🥂 Malta content creator | Princess Diana art | Lady Diana print | Revenge dress | Copic marker art | watercolour illustration | Maltese artist #LadyDiana #PrincessDiana #RevengeDress #DianaPrincessOfWales For this year’s illustration of Diana, I chose her in the dress that became the Revenge Dress — but I wanted to tell a slightly different story. “I do as I’m expected, what they say behind my back is none of my business, but I come back here and I know, when I turn my light off at night, that I did my best.” Perhaps that is the part of Diana I wanted to remember today. 🤍 I’ve written a little more about the woman, the dress and the words behind this illustration on the blog. ✨ Link in bio.
